Two big threes by Shane Larkin and two free throws by Rodrigue Beaubois proved to be enough as Baskonia beat Barcelona 65-62.

The guests had the last shot with 13 seconds left on the clock, but Victor Claver missed the three which could have send the game to overtime. A three pointer by Tyrese which tied the score at 60 with 1,5 minute left, after the first big shot by Larkin, but Barcelona scored just 2 free throws after that and Baskonia prevailed.

Beaubois had in total 19 points, Larkin added 14 in what was an ugly game for both sides. Barcelona got a 16-9 lead after the first quarter, just a 6 points advantage at half time (30-24) and in the end everything was decided on details.

Ante Tomic with 18 points was the top scorer of the losing side, Rice scored 15 and also had 8 assists, while Petteri Koponen added 13 points.
