For twenty minutes Maccabi Tel Aviv seemed ready to get the road win, but that was not the story of the rest of the game. Darussafaka Dogus bounced back and coach David Blatt got the 86-84 win against his old team.

The key was the third quarter, during which the hosts scored 27 points and let only 13.  Thanks to the dynamic duo of Scottie Wilbekin who scored 23 points and Will Clyburn who had 20 points and 12 rebounds, Darussafaka was able to turn the tied and in the end got the win much easier than the score suggests.

With 47 seconds left of the clock Andrew Goudelock who had in total 23 points on 5/6 threes, cut the lead of the hosts to three (84-81), but Wilbekin’s answer was two made free throws (86-81) 12 seconds before the final buzzer and in the end Victor Rudd with one more three cut the final point difference to two, while finishing the game with 17 points.
