In the clash between the best two offensive teams in ACB league, Baskonia emerged victoriously against Real Madrid 77-62, improving to a 9-5 record, while dropping Real to 11-3.

Adam Hanga and Shane Larkin led the winners with 16 points each, while Kim Tillie had 14. For Real, Luka Doncic and Rudy Fernandez scored 12 points each and Sergio Llull followed with 8.

Right from the beginning, it was a tough matchup between the two clubs! Baskonia had an early advantage in the game, leading 20-19 in the first period. The second quarter was less productive for both, still the hosts were able to have a 32-27 advantage at halftime.

After the break, Sito Alonso’s team outdid Real in defense and recorded 33 (!) points in the third quarter, while leaving limited options to Pablo Laso’s team in offense. Larkin and Hanga drilled shots from afar and Baskonia was up 65-42.
