Things couldn’t be easier for Crvena Zvezda on the road against Zalgiris Kaunas. The Serbs got an easy 77-61 win after leading 21-7 at the first quarter and never looking back.

Marko Simonovic with 16 points was the leading scorer of a balanced offensive effort, however the key for the winners was defense as the hosts scored just 15 points in the second quarter, 17 in the third and only in the last one managed to score more than 20, 22 to be exact.

At half time the score was 47-22 in favor of the guests and the game was over. Paulius Jankunas with just 10 points was the only scorer in double digits for Zalgiris Kaunas. For the winners, Branko Lazic had also a good night with 15 points, only one missed shot and 4 steals.

After this road win, Crvena Zvezda remains on the course to compete for the playoffs, having an 8-8 record, while Zalgiris Kaunas is left at 6-10.
