Wesley Matthews scored 19 points and Dirk Nowitzki added 17 and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Minnesota Timberwolves 98-87 on Sunday.

Also the Toronto Raptors beat the Knicks 116-111. Lithuanian Jonas Valanciunas had a double double for the winners (12 p., 16 r.). For the New Yorkers who played without Latvian Kristaps Porzingis, Frenchman Joakim Noah had 1 point and 8 rebound, Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas added 9 points, Spaniard Willy Hernangomez flirted with the double double (8 p. 13 r.) and Slovenian Sasha Vujacic added 7 points.
