CSKA Moscow got one more win, this time against Anadolu Efes, however coach Dimitris Itoudis in the press conference spoke about his objections on the way EuroLeague games are called.

As the Greek coach of the defending champs said: “I am sad , because we have all agreed in (ed.note: EuroLeague coaches) meetings to help basketball grow and being interesting for fans but  but this does not mean taking steps back in not making the right calls…Suddenly it’s very easy to call technical fouls. Are we trying to protect basketball and make it better, or we just try to keep games close and interesting?”

Itoudis was asked if his team has psychological ups and downs. He disagree and as he stated: “I pray to be healthy for three or four months and then we will see if there’s a psychological problem or not. Maybe the psychological problem is that we should be 10th in the league and we are first both in EuroLeague and in VTB United league. Thank you for that question, I just wanted to express myself”.

And speaking about injuries, the team captain Victor Khryapa was hurt today and Milos Teodosic is still missing. As Itoudis explained: “We go day by day with Milos and Khryapa who was injured this morning. Teodosic is feeling pain in his achilles tendon. The good news is that his MRI exam is clear, so it’s not something big”.
