Aggressive defense was the key for RASTA Vechta against Telenet Giants Antwerp, powered the 79-72 win at the Rasta Dome Vechta on Tuesday night.

Josh Young led the way with 25 points including 17 in the second half of the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 11 affair. The Drake University alum also dished six assists for good measure.

The third “W” of the BCL season at Vechta popped Pedro Calles’ team up to 6-5 in Group B. The playoffs are even closer to becoming a reality for the German outlet.

Going the other direction, the 2019 Final Four participating team fell to 3-8. The sixth loss in as many road games all but eliminated Christophe Beghin’s club from the Round of 16.

Dennis Donkor posted a team-high 14 points in losing effort.
