Nikos Gkikas will miss the next two months, AEK announced on Wednesday. The Greek point guard will have surgery on Saturday, the Queen added via following press release.

Gkikas picked up a right thumb injury during Tuesday’s Basketball Champions Regular Season Gameday 11 home match versus Teksut Bandirma. Upon medical tests, the initial timetable was determined and the date for surgery was set.

Going through his second BCL campaign averaged 5.6 points, 2 assists and 1.5 rebounds chipping in on his side’s 7-4 W-L tally in Group B. Also posted 7.4 points per Basket League game.
