Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem blew the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Round 12 game open in the second half for the 98-76 win against EB Pau-Lacq-Orthez at the Pais Arena. Victory officially entered Oded Kattash’ club into the playoffs, also eliminated the losing side.

Debuting in the BCL, Shelvin Mack went for 22 points with 7/10 field goals including four threes in just over 22 minutes. John Holland started fast with 11 points in the first quarter and ended up with 18 on Wednesday.

Sixth win in as many home games and third in a row overall brought the Israeli club to 9-3 in Group B and one step closer to securing first place.

Justin Dentmon kept the French team close throughout the first half, but his game-high 27 points were not enough for the “W” at Jerusalem. Laurent Vila’s squad fell to 4-8.
