Despite missing RJ Hunter, Turk Telekom had everything under control in an 85-67 road win over Filou Oostende in Basketball Champions League.

Kyle Wiltjer stepped up once again for the winning side with 23 points on 10-16 shooting while also grabbing seven rebounds. Nick Johnson added 12 in addition to Moustapha Fall’s ten points and eight boards.

The Turkish side improved to 9-3 and will stay at the top of Group A while Oostende now holds a 6-6 record together with UNET Holon as they fight for the fourth place which leads to playoffs. Oostende has the tiebreaker advantage as they won both games vs. the Israelis.

For Oostende, Amar Sylla was the only double-digit scorer with 20 points and seven rebounds. MiKyle McIntosh scored eight and Braian Angola seven points.

After a fairly balanced first quarter (21-19), Turk Telekom took off fast and was up by a 20-point margin (53-33) already at halftime. They didn’t allow any slip-ups after the break leading by as much as 29 points (71-42) and sealing the deal.
