Nizhny Novgorod was in a bad streak recently but they recovered in a comfortable home win over Gaziantep in Basketball Champions League

Nizhny Novgorod won just one of their eight games in all competitions and lost three straight but managed to bounce back with an 89-64 rout against Gaziantep.

Nizhny improved to 8-5 and the third spot in Basketball Champions League Group C although they already advanced to the playoffs yesterday due to other results going their way. Gaziantep stayed at three wins (3-10).

Artem Komolov led the way with 19 points followed by Terell Parks who banked all seven of his shots for 16 points. Brandon Brown notched a double-double with 12 points and 12 assists.

For Gaziantep, Stevan Jelovac scored 18 in addition to Jason Rich’s 17 and İsmail Cem Ulusoy’s ten points.

Nizhny was in control from the very start as they went ahead 27-16 in the first quarter and 47-30 at halftime. They didn’t let go after the break and led by as much as 37 points (86-49) on their way to a comfortable win.
