Casademont Zaragoza announced on Thursday that Javier Justiz and Renaldas Seibutis will undergo surgery. The Spanish outlet noted that both players will miss the rest of the 2019-20 season.
The 27-year-old Cuban center will have a left knee arthroscopy after aggravating his injury in Wednesday’s Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 13 affair versus PAOK. Going through his debut BCL season was posting 8.5 points and 6.6 boards per appearance, also had 7.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per ACB game.
Seibutis, 34, never got to make his 2019-20 debut due to injury before being ruled out for the remainder of the season.
The team coached by Porfirio Fisac currently holds first place in BCL Group D thanks to its 9-4 W-L tally. Additionally sits in third place of the ACB table with 14 wins in 19 matches.
