The club – which won the first-ever BCL trophy and will host the upcoming Intercontinental Cup – shares with Nymburk the best record in the regular season (11-2) and if they get the road win in their last game before the Round of 16 on the road against Brose Bamberg, then they will get to 12 wins for the third straight season.
It’s not a small feat and Tenerife already has 46 BCL regular-season wins, more than any other contender. To be exact Besiktas Sompo Sigorta follows with 38, AEK Athens has 37, TESKUT Bandirma’s sum is 36 wins and Nymburk had 35.
As you can see, Tenerife’s consistency is admirable.
