Deividas Gailius and Neptunas bounced back twice on their way to a home win over Falco in Basketball Champions League

Despite a slow start, Neptunas Klaipeda managed to bounce back and eventually grab an 87-83 home win against Falco Szombathely.

Both teams have already been out of the playoff contention and both squads will finish the season with a 6-8 record in Group D.

Deividas Gailius led the way with 21 points while Andre Williamson added 16 and Simas Galdikas 12 points. Zygimantas Janavicius had eight points but also dished 11 assists.

For Falco, Zoltan Perl and Ron Curry scored 17 points each in addition to Marko Filipovity’s 16.

Falco was off to a great start with a 30-16 lead but Neptunas recovered and was ahead 45-40 at halftime. They stayed in front after the break (68-62) and although Falco took an 81-76 lead in the fourth quarter, the hosts answered with a 9-0 run which propelled them to victory.
