AEK wrapped up its 2019-20 Basketball Champions League Regular Season by defeating Anwil Wloclawek, 83-72, on Wednesday evening. The home win clinched second place in Group B for Ilias Papatheodorou’s team.

Never before scored a BCL point, but Nikos Rogkavopoulos posted 15 in the Regular Season Gameday 14 contest. The promising 18-year-old shared a team-high in points with Linos Chrysikopoulos. Shawn Jones paired 21 points with 14 boards in losing effort.

Fifth 2019-20 win at Athens’ OAKA Olympic Indoor Hall pushed the Queen to 9-5. Claiming second spot in the group means home-court advantage for the Round of 16.

Igor Milicic’s side heavily challenged for the win up to Rogkavopoulos powering an 11-1 run for the hosts late in the first half. Loss held the Polish outlet to a 5-9 finish.
