Dinamo Sassari beat BAXI Manresa, 64-61, at the Pavello Nou Congost and eliminated the Spanish club from the Basketball Champions League playoffs. Dropped an early double-digit lead, but recovered for the away win.
Miro Bilan scored a game-high 14 points including a couple of clutch free throws at Manresa, Spain. Dyshawn Pierre kept his team in front for most of the Regular Season Gameday 14 contest with 12 points and eight rebounds. Curtis Jerrells added 11 points.
The visitors improved to 11-3, but their fourth consecutive victory was not enough for first place in Group A. Turk Telekom prevailing over SIG Strasbourg kept Gianmarco Pozzecco’s team in second place.
Pedro Martinez’s side fell to 7-7 and out of the Round of 16 with its fourth loss in a row. David Kravish with 11 points was the only double-digit scorer on Wednesday evening.
