Sergey Toropov has returned to Nizhny Novgorod for the remainder of this season as well as the next one, the club announced.
Toropov is well-acquainted with the team as he is a Nizhny Novgorod native and was a part of the squad in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 season. The 30-year-old forward started this season with Spartak Primorye.
Nizhny Novgorod will clash with JDA Dijon in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 while in VTB League, they are in the middle of a playoff race with six other teams.
