Bosnian club Igokea has contacted the Basketball Champions League in order to join the competition for the next season according to a report by Nova.

There has been a first communication between the club and the organization but so far Igokea hasn’t sent the necessary reports. The deadline to submit an official application is June 5.

Igokea won the Bosnian League for five straight years from 2013 through 2018 and was also named the 2020 champion due to the season’s cancelation amid the coronavirus pandemic. The team is also playing in the ABA League.

The Basketball Champions League recently secured the participation of Bilbao, Rytas Vilnius, and Darussafaka Tekfen.
