One more club moved from the EuroCup to FIBA’s competition

Tofas Bursa became the latest club to officially declare its allegiance to the Basketball Champions League.

As the Turkish team announced: “Our club, which has been in Eurocup since 2017, gained important experiences during this three-year period. We would like to thank the Euroleague and Eurocup organizations for their cooperation so far.

We are pleased to announce that the special invitation we received from the FIBA ​​competition Basketball Champions League is a more suitable pathway for our club strategy and future planning and that we will take part in BCL from next season. We think that the Basketball Champions League has a rising momentum in Europe and that it can be a candidate for the leadership of European basketball in a very short time with its business plan and sports criteria.

Having been in FIBA ​​organizations many times before in the Cup Winners’ Cup (Saporta Cup), Korac Cup, FIBA ​​Euroleague, and FIBA ​​EuroChallenge, our club, which has achieved numerous successes since its establishment by focusing on sports and the development of young prospects.
