One more team from Turkey left the EuroCup for the BCL.

After Tofas and Darussafaka, Galatasaray become the third and final Turkish team left which moved from the 7Days EuroCup to the Basketball Champions League.

As the club announced: “As Galatasaray Sports Club, which has been serving Turkish basketball continuously since its foundation and successfully representing our country with its international successes, we are pleased to announce that we will take part in the FIBA ​​Basketball Champions League starting from the 2020/2021 season.

Basketball Champions League, the biggest sports competition of FIBA ​​in the club level, has increased its brand value every year since its establishment and marked the beginning of a significant change in European basketball.

In FIBA’s meetings with our club, the extra values ​​that Galatasaray brand and Basketball Champions League brand can contribute to each other were discussed and as a result, our club accepted to be one of the most important contributors of this large organization.
