Basketball Champions League picked out team performances from the past four years that have already found their spot in the history books.

UNET Holon, BAXI Manresa, EWE Baskets Oldenburg, Iberostar Tenerife, Mornar Bar, AS Monaco, Pinar Karsiyaka, AEK Athens all put on single-game records in some shape or form.

Holon’s 122 points on October 29, 2019, in the win against Polski Cukier Torun, are the most a team has scored so far in a single BCL game. The squads combined for 227 points which is also the highest total so far.

Two months later, Manresa showed the talent of its squad and the teammplay they’ve harbored throughout the season by sealing a record with 41 assists.

Guard Dani Perez led the effort with 11 assists but he was far from alone as 9 out of 11 players that stepped on the court for Manresa that night, added at least one of their own.

Bringing it back to two years earlier, Oldenburg set up a record with 20 made triples which has held up even until today.

Maxime De Zeeuw sparked the shootout with 5 out of 7 from deep while the whole squad attempted a total of 38 shots from downtown.

Next up is Tenerife and the 65 rebounds the Spanish squad managed to snatch in the 2018-19 season in the huge 97-38 win against Opava.

Sebastian Saiz and Pierre-Antoine Gillet grabbed 14 rebounds each while all 11 of Tenerife players who played logged at least two boards.

Mornar also joined the bunch but they did it on the defensive side. Uros Lukovic was adamant not to allow any easy points down low and made six blocks which seemingly inspired his squad to help out and reach 11 blocks in the game against Brose Bamberg.

The Montenegrin squad isn’t the only one that can boast with a defensive record. Monaco and Tenerife have something to say as well with their tie at 20 steals in a single game.

Monaco did it against Juventus Utena in 2017 while Tenerife joined up two years later with 20 of their own against ERA Nymburk.

Monaco can also add the biggest margin in the playoffs to its record list. They’ve dominated Stelmet Zielona Gora 90-60 in Game 2 of the 2017-18 Round of 16 match to cruise forward.

On the other hand, AEK and Pinar Karsiyaka can boast with the biggest come-from-behind turnarounds in the playoffs.

Both squads lost Game 1 by ten points but managed to advance against Nymburk and Fraport Skyliners respectively.

The one between AEK and Nymburk, in particular, was for the memories as they overcame the deficit by just one point and in the final moments of the game thanks to Kevin Punter’s shot.
