Bilbao announced the signing of Polish forward Jaroslw Zyskowski to a one-year deal. Zyskowski will play in Spain for the first time in his career and will be returning to the Basketball Champions League.

“He’s a tall forward, an effective player in the outside shot, very reliable in open shots. He also dominated the game on the low post and takes advantage of his height and size and his ability to finish near the basket. The fact that he’ll be having a coach who played in his position (Alex Mumbru) will make his adaptation and progression faster,” Bilbao Sports Director Rafa Pueyo said.

Zyskowski, a three-time (2018, 2019, 2020) Polish League champion, averaged 10.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the 2019-2020 VTB League along with 15.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in  Poland. After the season in his country was canceled, he joined Rasta Vechta for the German League’s Final Phase, posting 14.6 points and 3.0 rebounds.
