Matt Lojeski will play in Greece once again, this time for AEK Athens

AEK has been working towards the perfect roster to face the upcoming challenges in Greece and the Basketball Champions League, and one of the puzzle pieces has been put in place – Matt Lojeski.

The management of the Greek club has been waiting for the American-Belgian’s answer on the submitted proposal and it returned positive. The sides are expected to pen the deal tomorrow (July 26).

The 35-year-old guard/forward spent this past season in Turkey with Tofas, averaging 9.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists.

Before Tofas, Lojeski had played for six years in Greece with Olympiacos (2013-17) and Panathinaikos (2017-19). He was named the EuroLeague Finals Top Scorer in 2015.
