Brandon Jefferson is set to play in the Basketball Champions League next season.

Strasbourg announced the addition of guard Brandon Jefferson for 2020-2021 season. Jefferson, along with Jean-Baptiste Maille, has arrive at Strasbourg to replace Wes Clark who failed his medicals.

Jefferson, 28, has had stints in Europe with Phoenix Hagen in Germany, Slovenian side Union Olimpija and French club Orleans, among others. With the latter, he was named MVP of the French Pro B (Second Division) after averaging 165. points, 5.4 assists and 2.8 rebounds.

“He has shown that he’s able to step up and improve every year,” Strasbourg coach Lassi Tuovi said. “When I spoke to him, I quickly understood that he was a humble player with a real desire to improve even further, liek the other players we have recruited. He will bring us his shooting precision, his speed and his talent.”

With Strasbourg, Jefferson will make his Basketball Champions League debut.
