The Bakken bears, Sporting, Igokea and Belfius Mons joined the final phase of the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers

Four more squads advanced to the final phase of the Basketball Champions League Qualifiers and will fight for the regular-season entry.

Bakken Bears – Hapoel Tel Aviv 91-71

Bakken Bears routed Hapoel Tel Aviv 91-71 led by Michel Diouf with 14 points and 17 rebounds while DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell scored 19 and Darko Jukic 17 points. Justin Dentmon added 14 points of his own.

For Hapoel, Yam Madar scored 19 in addition to Reggie Upshaw’s 11 and Bar Timor’s ten points.

Anwil Wloclawek – Belfius Mons-Hainaut 69-81

The Bears will face Belfius Mons-Hainaut which got past Anwil Wloclawek 81-69.

Arik Smith led the charge with 21 points followed by Auston Barnes with 14 and Skylar Spencer with ten points. For Anwil, Theron Bussey scored 14 and Deishuan Booker 11 points.

Fribourg Olympic – Sporting CP 78-84

Travante Williams banked 23 and John Fields 20 points as Sporting got an 84-78 win against Fribourg Olympics.

Fields also grabbed 11 rebounds while James Ellisor helped with ten points. For Fribourg, Arnaud Cotture and Brandon Garrett both scored 16 points.

U-BT Cluj Napoca – Igokea 75-82

Sporting’s opponent in the next phase will be Igokea which got an 82-75 win over Cluj Napoca led by Jackie Carmichael who banked 25 points.

Edin Atic added 12 and Antabia Waller ten points while for Cluj, Justin Edwards scored 22 in addition to Donatas Tarolis and  Patrick Richard’s 15 points each.

The final stage of BCL Qualifiers will be played on September 24th and 25th.
