ERA Nymburk powered up its Basketball Champions League squad with Retin Obasohan, the Czech team announced Saturday.

Obasohan, 27, returns to the BCL after his 13 appearances attached to Brose Bamberg last season. He posted 9.5 points, 3.0 assists, and 1.8 rebounds per contest.

“He is a tough player with the qualities we were looking for,” pointed out head coach Oren Amiel, “He is a player relying on his strength, athletic, and effective on both sides of the court. We believe his Basketball Champions League and national team experience will help us.”

The Belgian international coming out of Alabama launched his pro career in Italy with Avellino, played one season in Germany, and went on to the G League in 2018-19 before traveling back to Germany and Bamberg.
