Tofas announced they’ve hired Hakan Demir as head coach Thursday, a few days after the departure of Orhun Ene from the team’s bench. Ene resigned after five seasons with the Turkish club, before the club’s first BCL game of the season.
51-year-old Demir spent the previous two seasons with Turkish side Bandirma and has served as a head coach in Besiktas, Pinar Karsiyaka and Trabzonspor, among other teams, while he started his coaching career as an assistant in Anadolu Efes.
