Tofas Bursa gets the job done in Cyprus controlling the second half

Tofas Bursa launched its Basketball Champions League run with an 84-74 away win versus Keravnos Tuesday evening.

DeVaughn Akoon-Purcell punched in a game-high 24 points. After falling behind by 10 points, the visitors dominated the third quarter with the former Illinois State standout pouring 13 of his points.

D.J. White registered 17 points for the Turkish outlet jumping to a 1-0 record in Group B. Nuni Omot got 11 points, while Semaj Christon finished with ten points, eight assists, and five rebounds.

Christophoros Livadiotis’ team failed to recover after getting outscored, 29-14, in the third period. Jesse Hunt’s team-high 22 points did not prevent the drop to 0-2.
