Lots of action in Week 4 of the Basketball Champions League as 12 games get played out with the reigning champs San Pablo Burgos finally stepping on the court while an interesting clash awaits between Sergio Hernandez’s Zaragoza and Zoran Lukic’s Nizhny Novgorod

The coronavirus pandemic has been making it hard for basketball competitions around the globe to keep a regular schedule and so has been the case with the Basketball Champions League as well.

However, that was exactly why the new format has been implemented and due to it, this week will feature a heavy amount of action with a total of 12 games across all eight groups if nothing changes until the tip-offs.

Galatasaray and the Bakken Bears will play out their postponed game as the Turks try to grab their first win. With Brock Motum playing the way he has, it’s hard to expect otherwise.

Group C will feature a whole round of action as Hapoel Holon and Cholet chase their first wins while AEK and Tsmoki-Minsk look to go 2-0 in a very interesting clash.

Nizhny Novgorod will finally step on the court and their opener will come on the road against Casademont Zaragoza which will be led by the new head coach in Sergio Hernandez. The Argentinian expert has already started to work his magic with the squad but Zoran Lukic hasn’t been known for going down easy. Coaches might be the highlight of this match.

Rytas had a great start but has now suffered four straight losses and the squad is in need of a bounce-back win. They’ve made some changes to the roster including bringing in Ryan Boatright. Perhaps the changes will be enough to overcome Strasbourg in France.

Group H will also feature a couple of teams that didn’t play yet in BCL this season, San Pablo Burgos and Happy Casa Brindisi. Both will have a chance at victory as they go against Darussafaka and Oostende. Burgos made a statement with a convincing win over Valencia in the Spanish League and it would be a surprise if the reigning BCL champions didn’t continue where they left off.
