Filou Oostende spoiled Hereda San Pablo Burgos’ plans returning to Basketball Champions League action following the recent Final Eight triumph with a 99-98 win Tuesday.

The 20th lead change of the Group H Gameday 4 matchup came with 18 seconds left by the deciding bucket sank by Dusan Djordjevic. The 37-year-old Serbian forward moved to nine points getting his team to 1-1.

Olivier Troisfontaines carried the majority of the offensive impact at the Versluys Dome with a game-high 23 points behind 8/11 field goals. Thomas Welsh put up 14 more points and young upstart Keye van der Vuurst de Vries a 13-point, 11-assist double-double.

The defending champions fell to 0-1 in spite of Dejan Kravic scoring a team-high 19 points in Oostende. Alex Renfroe finished with 18 points and Thad McFadden with 16.
