Tsmoki Minsk showed up in Israel and logged quite an impressive road win over Hapoel Holon in Basketball Champions League

Tsmoki-Minsk put on an impressive display on the road, controlling the tempo of the game majority of the time and logging a 79-69 win against Hapoel Holon in Group C of Basketball Champions League. Tsmoki improved to 2-1 while Holon follows with a 1-2 record.

Toms Leimanis led the way for the victors with 20 points on 6-8 from the field while Klavs Cavars scored 15 and Maksim Salash 13 points. Salash also grabbed 11 boards.

For Hapoel, Tyrus McGee banked in 20 points in addition to Isaiah Miles’s 18 and C.J. Harris’s ten points.

Tsmoki’s squad was quite convincing, especially on the run as they outscored Holon 24 to 5 in fastbreak points and their bench had a big contribution.

There were some ups and downs along the way but the guests led by 15 (47-32) at halftime and as much as 23 (76-53) in the fourth quarter before Holon softened the blow with a late surge.
