Hereda San Pablo Burgos announced that the team has added Maksim Salash to the roster for this and the following season.
The 24-year-old Belarussian big started this season with Tsmoki-Minsk and averaged 16.3 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists over 11 games split between the VTB League and the Basketball Champions League.

Maksim Salash (06/05/1996, Minsk, Belarus) will reinforce the inner game of Hereda San Pablo Burgos in the Endesa League and in the Basketball Champions League. The forward has signed for the Castilian club to complete this season and play next 2021/22 season. The 2.06m Belarusian stands out for his ability to spread the court, play low post and has the versatility to score at the rim with both hands.
The player was trained in the lower categories of Tsmoki-Minsk before heading to Spain, where he signed for Club Baloncesto Sevilla. Salash competed with the junior team of the Seville entity in the 2013/14 season and played LEB Oro in the following two seasons with CBP Huesca and CB Ourense. During his time in the Galician team, in the 2015/16 academic year, he faced CB Miraflores in the silver category of Spanish basketball.
In the years after his time in Spain, the pivot played in the Polish AZS Polfarmex Kutno and in the Estonian BC Kalev / Cramo, in addition to returning to the Tsmoki-Minsk where he grew up and from which he now joins the Hereda San Pablo Burgos.
The Belarusian has participated in this 2020/21 season in the VTB United League and in the Basketball Champions League, in which he has been signing great numbers. In the first four games played by the Minsk men in the European tournament, Salash has shown himself as the best of their own, with an average of 15.5 points, 8 rebounds and 18.5 PIR per game.
