By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

The Bakken Bears unsuccessful in their previous nine Basketball Champions League trips took down Dinamo Sassari, 93-71, at the PalaSerradimigni Wednesday.

Kenyan Tylor Ongwae highlighted the seven players of practically the entire rotation going into double-digits with 16 points. Deshawn Stephens posted a 15-point, 12-rebound double-double in the Regular Season Gameday 7 contest.

The Danish side stuck to its gameplan and never looked back after outscoring the hosts, 22-8, in the second quarter. The 54 rebounds including 26 offensive boards proved an extremely nice touch.

The historic win for the team coached by Steffen Wich upped the Group A record to 1-3 and dropped the hosts to 3-1 preventing them from clinching a playoffs berth.

Eimantas Bendzius got 17 points in the losing effort and Jason Burnell a 16-point, 11-rebound double-double.
