A strong finish inspired by TaShawn Thomas returns Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem to the win column

Two days after a loss at the Laktasi Sports Hall, Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem bounced back with the win, 84-68, over Igokea at the same venue.

TaShawn Thomas made 11/12 field goals en route to a game-high 26 points, including eight in the deciding fourth quarter. He also pulled down ten rebounds for his first double-double of the Basketball Champions League season.

Scoring his 16th point elevated him to the 700-point club as its fourth member. Teammate J’Covan Brown became the third earlier and went on for 16 points plus nine assists.

Despite actually playing on the road, through the Gameday 6 contest, the team coached by Oded Kattash extended its BCL winning streak at home to 15 games.

For the losing side, Marko Josilo and Edin Atic shared a team-high 14 points.

Both teams are now 2-2 in Group G.
