Tofas suffers yet another coronavirus hit as one player and one member of the coaching staff were found positive in the latest batch of tests performed Friday, the Turkish club announced. The number of positive cases within the team was previously confirmed up to 11.
The two most recent people returning positive COVID-19 tests have been isolated and are undergoing treatment.
Tofas is currently 1-2 in the Basketball Champions League Group B. Three fixtures remain in their Regular Season schedule planned to be held between January 6 and 19.
At the domestic level, the team based in Bursa is 5-7 and scheduled to take on Darussafaka Tekfen in Istanbul Sunday.
