Steven Gray, the second-best scorer of Basketball Champions League this season and Peristeri leader has requested to leave the club, while he has a deal waiting for him with Israeli side Bnei Herzliya.
Gray’s current contract with the Greek team does not include a buy-out option and awaits Peristeri’s approval to make the jump to Israel.
The 31-year-old shooting guard has led the team with 21.3 points, 4.5 assists and 2 rebounds per game after 4 contests this season, even though some ruckus within the team this season has resulted in him requesting to leave the club.
