Powered by effective rebounding and a solid fourth quarter, Hapoel Unet-Credit Holon took down AEK, 77-71, Tuesday evening at the Holon Toto Hall.

Tyrus McGee fired in 18 points in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Gameday 9 contest and Chris Johnson posted a 16-point, 13-rebound double-double. Maxime De Zeeuw and Isaiah Miles added 12 points apiece.

Keith Langford went for 19 points in the losing effort. His side was outrebounded, 46-32, initially dug its way out of a double-digit hole but suffered a 12-0 run in crunch time.

An early exit for Dimitrios Katsivelis expanded the injury woes for Ilias Papatheodorou as Nikos Zisis and Marcus Slaughter were ruled out for the game held at Holon.

Both sides are 3-2 in Group C with the team coached by Stefanos Dedas gaining the tie-breaking advantage.
