Herada San Pablo Burgos remains one of the top teams of the Basketball Champions League and aims to defend the championship title in 2021. That was once more evident in the 88-73 triumph against Filou Oostende with Burgos simply controlling the game from wire to wire and securing mathematically a spot in the next phase.

Dejan Kravic with 16 points and Vitor Benite with 15 led the charge for the hosts, who led by ten at the end of the first quarter while scoring 35 points (35-25).

Oostende managed to trim Burgos’ advantage to five points (54-39) at the end of the first half, but with a partial 17-9 score in the third quarter, the game was practically over.

Once again, Burgos shot efficiently from the three-point line, making 12 out of 27 shots, while Tomas Welsh (14 p.) and Pierre-Antoine Gillet (13 p.) tried their best for the guests, but they were not enough. The winners improved their record in Group H to 4-1, while Oostende dropped to 1-4 and is eliminated.
