With several key players out injured, AEK seeking a reinforcement will sign Daryl Macon

Daryl Macon following Galatasaray will bounce right back in the Basketball Champions League attached to AEK. The American guard is expected to land in Greece on Monday to ink a contract with the Queen for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Macon, 25, started the current season at Galatasaray putting up 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per Champions League contest through the Regular Season. In addition, he packed 15.7 points per BSL game at the domestic level.

Prior to his move across the Atlantic, the former Arkansas standout made eight NBA appearances with the Dallas Mavericks during the 2018-19 season and three with the Miami Heat last year.

The Greek outlet facing an injury crisis is set for the BCL playoffs as one of the 16 teams to be drawn into a new group on Tuesday.
