Brose Bamberg’s undefeated streak ends at the beginning of the Basketball Champions League Round of 16

Retin Obasohan facing his former team was among the top performers as ERA Nymburk took down undermanned Brose Bamberg, 91-87, to start Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Round 1 Group L on Tuesday.

Obasohan, 27, attached to the German side debuted in the BCL last season. In the first reunion, he went for 21 points, six assists, four rebounds, and three steals lifting the Czech champions to the home win.

Omar Prewitt also scored 21 points, including a dagger from beyond the arc for the team coached by Oren Amiel. Jerrick Harding produced 16 more points and Vojtech Hruban 12.

The visitors, struck by several injuries, undefeated through the Regular Season, were led by Devon Hall at 24 points. Christian Sengfelder punched in 18 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Shevon Thompson posted a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double.
