Hereda San Pablo Burgos jumped to 2-0 in Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Group J with a convincing win, 101-79, over Lenovo Tenerife on Tuesday.
Five double-digit scoring efforts for Joan Penarroya as his side blew out the visitors. Thad McFadden put up a team-high 17 points, while Alex Renfroe finished with 14 points, five assists, and four rebounds. Vitor Benite also produced 14 points.
Sasu Salin led all scorers in the Gameday 2 contest with 21 points. Giorgi Shermadini registered 12 at Coliseum Burgos.
Txus Vidorreta’s side downed to 1-1 in the Round of 16 also fell to 1-3 when taking on another Spanish team in a BCL game.
