Gianmarco Pozzecco did not hold back in the post-game press conference following the Dinamo Sassari loss to ERA Nymburk on Tuesday.
“This is not fair,” he screamed absolutely enraged commenting on calls made by the officials late in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Gameday 2 match, “My guys traveled 25 hours to come and play the game here. This is not fair.”
The 48-year-old Italian head coach refused to actually talk about the game. He also asked Miro Bilan to wrap up his participation in the presser as quickly as possible.
To make matters worse for the Italian club, a break-in the locker room during the match resulted in the burglar stealing all the cash left by the players, as Bilan described on Twitter.
Great organization and hospitality here in Nymburk, Czech Republic. During the international game of BCL, somebody broke into our lockerroom and literally opened every our bag and jacket and stole all our cash. Also the ‘funny’ thing is that we all this covid rules…
