While AEK got the first duel in Greece (77-68), SIG Strasbourg came back prepared to return the favor and got a convincing 91-73 home win in France.

This was the first loss for AEK in the playoffs and they now stand at 2-1 while Strasbourg logged a much-needed victory and holds a 1-3 record, keeping the hopes alive.

Bonzie Colson and Brandon Jefferson scored 18 points each for the winning team while Yannis Morin and Léo Cavalière added 12 each.

Colson also grabbed nine rebounds. On the other side, Keith Langford had 18 in addition to Kingsley Moses’ 15 and Linos Chrysikopoulos’s 11 points.

Strasbourg was in control from the tip-off as they went ahead 31-18 after ten minutes and, while AEK cut the gap to just five points (52-37) early in the third quarter, the French team went on an 11-0 run to break the opposition and secure the victory.

Strasbourg was ‘too fast’ for AEK as the crucial difference came from the fast-break point and they won that duel with 24-6.
