ERA Nymburk dug its way out of an 18-point hole securing the win, 91-80, against Brose Bamberg at Igokea’s SD Laktasi.

Lukas Palyza led the comeback charge in the Basketball Champions League Round of 16 Gameday 5 contest with a season-high 26 points.

Despite missing one of the leading stars of the reverse fixture and former Bamberg point guard, Retin Obasohan, the Czech side jumped to 3-0 forcing its opponents to 1-3.

Jerrick Harding chipped in 19 points as the team coached by Oren Amiel added a Final 8 berth bonus in Thursday’s Group L matchup versus Casademont Zaragoza in Spain. Chase Fieler also put up 19 points but on the wrong end of the result.

The German club guided by Johan Roijakkers was up 40-22, three minutes before the break but is now on the brink of elimination.

Tuesday’s game was moved to Laktasi as Nymburk coming out of a ten-day quarantine due to positive coronavirus tests was not allowed to enter Germany.
