While the first duel belonged convincingly to Hereda San Pablo Burgos, Lenovo Tenerife fulfilled its revenge to the fullest with an 89-60 win.

With this win, Tenerife proved to 5-1 in Group J and got ahead of the reigning champions who will advance to the Final Eight as second-placed with 4-2.

Giorgi Shermadini scored 14 points for the winning side with Aaron Doornekamp, Fran Guerra and Emir Sulejmanovic adding 12 each.

For Burgos, Miquel Salvo scored 15 in addition to Alex Renfroe‘s 13 and Ken Horton’s ten points.

Tenerife was in full control from start to finish. Their defense led the way to many easy fastbreak points off turnovers and their presence on the boards was impressive as well. The lead reached 14 by halftime (41-27) and kept increasing after the break, with everything being more than clear already by the end of the third quarter.
