Elias Harris was among the top contributors for Casademont Zaragoza with 17 points and 3 rebounds in 27 minutes, as the Spanish side beat Nizhny Novgorod to move to the Basketball Champions League semifinals.
After a challenging first half, Zaragoza stuck together to impose its game and win in a thrilling finale to punch their ticket to the first semifinal, where they will face Pinar Karsiyaka.
“Everything is possible [about making it to the final], it’s not like a playoffs series where we have to play multiple games, it’s a do or die game. We have to do what we did today, stick together as a team. Even if you hit adversity at times. It’s not always going to go your way, but we have to fight through it no matter what”.
