Joel-Sadu Aminu inked a one-year contract with Brose Bamberg, the German club announced Monday.

“I joined Phoenix Hagen four years ago aiming to reach the BBL. I made it with Bamberg, a club with enormous history and a leading program in Germany,” mentioned the newcomer, “I was finally convinced after a conversation with Johan Roijakkers. I like how he values hard work. I am a hard worker. I want to improve every day.”

Aminu, 24, will debut in top-flight easyCredit BBL after a lengthy run in Germany’s second division. Apart from the domestic league, his new side went through the last three seasons of the Basketball Champions League.

“Joel is a player with extraordinary work ethic. He has improved a lot over the last four years at Hagen,” said Dutch head coach Johan Roijakkers, “He will be ready when we need him.”

Christian Sengfelder, Dominic Lockhart, Kenneth Ogbe, and Elias Baggette remain under contract for at least the next season, as noted by Bamberg in the press release announcing the addition of Aminu.
