BAXI Manresa has been quite active this offseason in the transfer market and the team is close to a couple of new deals, this time with Luke Maye and Ismael Bako respectively, according to Eurohoops sources.
After graduating from North Carolina, Maye spent a year in the G League with the Wisconsin Herd after which he moved to Europe where he played for the Italian squad Dolomiti Energia Trento.
The 24-year-old forward averaged 11.6 points and six rebounds over 41 games last season in EuroCup and the Italian League.
Bako, on the other hand, spent five years with Leuven Bears and two with Antwerp Giants in Belgium. The past two seasons he was playing for ASVEL. He has garnered Basketball Champions League as well as EuroLeague experience.
Manresa also reached deals with Chima Moneke, Janis Berzins and Rafa Martinez beforehand, building a competitive roster for their run in the Basketball Champions League and the Spanish Liga Endesa.
