Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem has added Amit Gershon, the team announced Monday. The fourth newcomer of the ongoing offseason inked a two-year contract. Also, young point guard Yuval Sznajderman inked a two-year contract extension.

Gershon, 25, after three seasons in Israel’s top-tier division, including the last two as a member of Hapoel Gilboa Galil, attaches the Basketball Champions League to his list of competitions.

He had 5.1 points and 1.1 rebounds per game in the 2020-21 Winner League Regular Season. The Israeli guard went on with 4.0 points per match in the Playoffs helping his side reach the Finals.

After hiring Oren Amiel as the new head coach, Hapoel Jerusalem has brought in Retin Obasohan, Itay Segev, and Willy Workman, before Gershon. Additionally, the Israeli club had re-signed Adam Ariel prior to retaining Sznajderman.

The upcoming Champions League Regular Season sets up Pinar Karsiyaka, Baxi Manresa, and Arged BM Slam Stal Ostrow Wielkopolski as the teams to face in Group B.
