Anthony Clemmons inked a one-year contract to join Dinamo Banco di Sardegna Sassari, the team announced.

Clemmons, 26, will be back in the Basketball Champions League following his debut in 2020-21. He put up 13.3 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per match emerging among the top point guards of the competition as a member of Igokea.

The floor general previously played in France for AS Monaco. He quickly climbed the European ladder since introducing himself in Austria after completing his NCAA run at Iowa in 2016.

He joins the list of newcomers consisting of Tyus Battle, David Logan, Jacopo Borra, Ousmane Diop, and Christian Mekowulu, all previously added by the Italian club.

Sassari has been gearing up for BCL Regular Season Group A action along with Lenovo Tenerife, MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, and one more team surviving the qualifying rounds.
